The TRIPP project ("Tramp Route for International Peace and Prosperity") will bring great economic benefits to the South Caucasus region by opening transit and trade.
"Report" reports that this was stated by US Vice President Jay Dee Vance at a press conference in Yerevan with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"As you know, TRIPP will bring historic changes to the region. I will also proudly talk about the 'TRIPP Enterprise Fund.' Through the TRIPP Fund, large-scale private capital will be directed to Armenia," he said.
According to the Vice President, the project will open new opportunities for trade, transit, and energy flows in the region, as well as create unprecedented relations between Armenia and neighboring countries.
"This will not only bring prosperity to the Armenian people but will also be an important step for long-term peace. When interconnected economies and energy sectors are created, a sustainable peace opportunity is ensured in the region," he emphasized.
Vance added that the "TRIPP Enterprise Fund" will provide private capital flows for the construction of railways, pipelines, and interconnected infrastructure, which will bring real prosperity to the region and strengthen the force of the peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku.
