On June 9, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the "AzeriLight" brand is offered at $100.09, which is $35.09 higher than the budgeted price.
Medianews.az reports that in the state budget for 2026, one barrel of oil was taken at $65. "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, and June at $104.58.
The price of oil has been fluctuating amidst rising tensions between the US and Israel with Iran since February 28.
The exporters' international coalition has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551,000 barrels.
