The Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received information about a fire at a facility in the Mashtagha settlement of Sabunchu district, Baku city.
According to the news provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry were immediately deployed to the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire at the facility was extinguished without allowing it to spread further.
As a result of the fire, combustible structures of the facility intended for the sale of tobacco products and mixed goods, totaling 942 sq.m., burned over an area of 400 sq.m.
The remaining part of the facility and nearby houses were protected from the fire.
