Georgia's foreign trade is in negative balance

The National Statistics Service of Georgia recorded a foreign trade turnover of 23.2 billion dollars in the period from January to November 2025.

Medianews.az reports that according to the official statement, this is 9.5 percent more compared to the same period in 2024.

An increase of 10.1 percent in exports and 9.3 percent in imports is indicated.

The report highlights that imports exceeded exports by 9.9 billion dollars.

In 2022, the negative balance in Georgia’s foreign trade was 7.9 billion dollars, in 2023 it was 9.5 billion dollars, and in 2024 it was 10.3 billion dollars.
