According to Milli.Az, Vəfa Şərifova, in an interview on the show Rəngarəng, said: "Am I indebted to anyone to attend their birthday? Should I be insulted because I don’t go? I cannot commit that kind of falseness. The whole country knows about my dispute with that singer. After those words and the events that happened, how can I congratulate her? What difference would it make if I don’t congratulate her?" she stated.
It should be noted that Şəbnəm Tovuzlu tore the invitation into pieces because Vəfa did not accept her birthday invitation.
