The former president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Pavelko, has been officially put on the wanted list.
Oxu.Az reports that the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs has released this information.
It is assumed that he left the territory of Ukraine at the end of last year. Law enforcement agencies suspect Pavelko of abuse of power involving embezzlement and extravagance of property, as well as official forgery.
The main episodes of the investigation concern financial manipulations related to UEFA funds. According to the investigation, financial resources from UEFA were directed to accounts of a private structure, after which the funds disappeared. The damage is estimated at 9.32 million euros.
