Medianews.az reports that these words were said about Guluzar Mammadova, the daughter-in-law of the 44-day Patriotic War hero and martyr Sakhavat Mammadov, who was killed.
According to the martyr's mother, contrary to claims, there is no issue of any money or bank card involved: "All the privileges and financial resources given to us by the state, which were our share, were legally gifted to our daughter-in-law through notarization. Because she had two small children. I lived in the same house with my daughter-in-law and raised her in the palm of my hand for six years. No one can say there was any quarrel or problem between the mother-in-law and her. Her mother, father, and all relatives know this well."
She stated that a phone call a month ago revealed her daughter-in-law's secret relationships: "I found out that Mrs. Guluzar was secretly involved with another man. It was impossible to hide this from the girl's father and mother. They came; although her father did not come, her mother, brother, and sister's husband did. As soon as her mother entered, she attacked me saying, 'She is seeing people, everyone is seeing people, my daughter is also seeing someone.' I am not someone who justifies her actions because this is not something that should be justified in any case."
Commenting on the matter, the mother noted that the other party initially tried to hide the true nature of the incident and to blame her: "Everything was told to her face, and it was explained why the girl left. The father was almost unaware of the real nature of the event. The daughter-in-law's mother initially tried to say that her daughter supposedly did not get along with her mother-in-law, that there was a fight at home over money, and that she took her away for this reason. But the event was not like that at all. Even when leaving here, she said, 'If you do not keep her, I will take her to her father and say that she had words with her wife, and that's why I brought her.' I objected to her and told her to tell the truth, not to lie and blame me."
According to her, after the full truth was revealed, the daughter-in-law's parents could not say a word: "The girl's father came, and after everything was clarified and they learned what the girl was actually doing, neither the father nor the mother could say anything. Still, they took their daughter and left in the same way. Her father only asked me for the girl's ID card, and I told him that I did not take any card or anything else from her hand. I gave the ID, and the father took his daughter and left the house. There has never been any financial dissatisfaction or complaint in our house. Our only dissatisfaction was about honor."
She later noted that the incident is a great stain on the noble name of the martyr's child: "My son's name was and still is exalted in this world; his place and rank are always high. Nevertheless, I never wanted any harm to come to Guluzar—because she was my child, and I had raised her in my palm for six years—nor did I want my son's name to be stained like this. I am addressing my people from here; they listen to these messages, voices, writings, and approach the matter one-sidedly. I have loved Guluzar more than my own children; I always valued her above my daughter, son, and other daughter-in-law. I never wanted such a misfortune to happen."
The martyr's mother emphasized that although she strongly condemns the committed crime, the indecent actions of the daughter-in-law shocked the entire family: "I express my protest; I am not a supporter of the crime. The person who did it will receive the appropriate punishment under the laws of the state. Guluzar was not theirs but my daughter; she left my house. She was the legacy of my child in this house, but her indecent actions destroyed and overturned everything."
She added that she has many material proofs demonstrating her daughter-in-law took an immoral path: "I have many videos, voice recordings, and pictures proving that my daughter-in-law was on the wrong path. I make these claims based on those material evidences. This matter happened entirely on the issue of honor, but without knowing the inner essence of the event, everyone dresses it in a different way. Now, relying on my dignity and modesty, I will direct to this page some of the most decent and appropriate parts of the materials I have so my people can see the truth themselves."
In conclusion, the mother, stating that no conscientious person can accept the disrespect shown to the memory of the martyr, addressed the people: "I address the families of martyrs, honorable women, martyr mothers: which one of you would accept your daughter-in-law bringing a strange man into the martyr's museum, his memorial room? Hear my voice and answer me. I am not slandering or defaming anyone. She was my daughter-in-law, cherished like the apple of my eye in my house, but unfortunately, she took this path."
