How many public holidays ahead are not considered working days?

Most of the non-working public holidays in 2025 have passed: New Year, Women's Day, Novruz holiday, Ramadan holiday, Victory Day, Independence Day, Eid al-Adha, National Salvation Day, Armed Forces Day.

Medianews.az reports that Victory Day and State Flag Day will be celebrated from November 8 to 11 (Saturday to Tuesday).

The year's holiday calendar will conclude on December 31 (Wednesday) with the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.

In a five-day workweek, November 10 and 11, and in a six-day workweek, November 10 are additional rest days. This is because according to the Labor Code, when a non-working holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, an additional day off is granted.

Three state holidays in the country are considered working days. This year, among these holidays, Restoration of Independence Day (October 18) falls on Saturday, Constitution Day (November 12) on Wednesday, and National Revival Day (November 17) on Monday.
