Host Könül Muxtarova talked about some of her colleagues.
Könül gave a statement about this on the program "A Day in History." She said that she does not want to share the same stage with some female hosts:
"There are such women that if I were on the same stage with them, I would be disrespecting myself. That woman is not a host who would come to a family gathering. Her morals do not allow it. The place of the host at the event she attends is the stage, not among the guests. She will see the host's friend who came from Moscow among the guests and will only sing around his table by mentioning his name. How can I share the stage with her?! I do not come down from the stage. Even if I see someone, if I have respect, I specially greet them by their table. But I cannot advertise with a microphone and earn 3-5 manats. I cannot be on the same stage with someone like that. The events where I have the stage, the restaurants I attend do not allow that. I do not host men's gatherings. Even if there is no problem, I feel uncomfortable and uneasy. There are many hosts who ruin events, really many. I would be ashamed to share the stage with those people." (olay)
