Singer Kəmalə Güneşli has made a striking statement regarding her stage activity and the genre she performs.
Milli.Az reports that the artist admitted the role of the commercial factor in her repertoire choice.
Kəmalə Güneşli stated that she chose this genre purely to make a living:
"I chose this genre to make a living. My songs smell like kebab. They are not works of art, I cannot say that. But my songs are not that bad."
The singer added that the songs she performs are liked by a different audience and she is invited to various events.
According to her, intellectuals and government workers have also danced to her rhythmic songs at weddings:
"I have also been to the weddings of intellectuals, teachers, government workers. They have danced to my song 'Çini-çaydan'. All of them were in suits and ties, they were modern people."
