Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev issued a statement regarding the tests of the nuclear torpedo called "Poseidon," announced by President Vladimir Putin on October 29.
Musavat.com, citing foreign agencies, reports that Medvedev wrote about this on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.
"I congratulate all of Russia's friends on the occasion of the tests of 'Poseidon.' Unlike 'Burevestnik,' this weapon can truly be considered a Doomsday weapon."
He added lightning and skull emojis to his post.
Medvedev specifically responded to the words of Belgium's Defense Minister Theo Francken. Francken previously stated that if Putin tries to use his new weapon against Europe, NATO will wipe Moscow off the map.
Medvedev, replying to a user comment, wrote that
"If Russia tests 'Poseidon' off the coast of Belgium, Belgium itself will cease to exist."
