“Iran’s mass production of ballistic missiles and increase in the number of drones, as well as the restructuring of air defense systems, may force Israel to take preventive measures. Also, Iran is renewing its military air force fleet and acquiring new fighters. China and Russia are expanding military logistics capabilities to Iran.” These words were spoken to Medianews.az by political analyst Mohammad Asadullazade.
He stated that Iran’s strategic plan is to strengthen its geopolitical positions in the Middle East again and not to engage in negotiations with the USA: “Israel considers this a threat to its existence and tries to involve the USA in the next military campaign against Iran.
If a new war starts, it could be more large-scale and destructive than the 12-day war in June. Especially, Israel’s small territory could be subjected to Iran’s mass rocket attacks. Iran will resist Israel from its own territories. A unilateral Israeli attack on Iran could lead to severe consequences. But if the USA intervenes, the fate of the Iranian regime may be at stake.”
Israel, accusing Iran of intending to develop nuclear weapons, launched severe military air and missile attacks against this country starting from June 13, 2025. On June 22, the USA also joined the air strikes, delivering blows to Iran’s main nuclear facilities. On June 23, a ceasefire agreement was reached.
