After the match between the national teams of Spain and Turkey held in Seville within the framework of the qualifying stage for the 2026 World Cup in football, a theft incident occurred.
According to Oxu.Az, after the match ended with a 2:2 score, approximately 200,000 euros worth of wristwatches belonging to the Turkish national team's players, as well as two rings, one of which was more expensive than 60,000 euros, went missing from the Turkish team's locker room.
Although it was initially thought that the items had been forgotten by the players, it soon became clear that the incident was a theft.
The police were able to find the stolen items. One person has been detained in connection with the incident.
