The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has updated its travel warning for Iraq.
Medianews.az reports that the embassy is urging U.S. citizens not to travel to Iraq and for those in the country to leave immediately.
At the same time, the embassy stated that armed groups linked to Iran are planning new attacks against U.S. citizens and Washington's interests.
"Certain elements associated with the Iraqi government continue to actively support terrorist groups politically, financially, and operationally," the embassy's statement says. //Milli.Az
