Singer Tacir Shahmalioglu stated that his colleague Şəbnəm Tovuzlu was invited to his child's engagement ceremony, but she did not come.
Şəbnəm explained the reason for this. She said that she received the invitation late:
"That day I had 2 wedding parties. I left the last party around 12:30. Since it was in Sumgayit, I could not go. They told me about the party 2 days before, and I had already accepted other wedding orders. If it had been in Baku, I would have gone to pay a visit. My son has a wedding ahead, I will definitely go there. That day, even if I received 100 wedding invitations, I would not accept them." (axşam.az)
