According to information as of 9:00 on December 26, Azerbaijan is experiencing intermittent precipitation, which is intense in some areas, with snow falling in mountainous and foothill regions.

Medianews.az reports that the State Hydrometeorological Service has released this information.

The snow depth is 10 cm in Zaqatala (Əlibəy), 7 cm in Kəlbəcər, Laçın, Qubadlı, 5 cm in Daşkəsən, Qusar (Laza), 4 cm in Göygöl, 3 cm in Xaltan, Qax (Sarıbaş), Qobustan, 2 cm in Şəki (Kişçay), Qəbələ, Altıağac, Şuşa, and 1 cm in İsmayıllı, Şamaxı, Biləsuvar, Yardımlı, Ağdam, Lerik, Gəncə, Şəmkir, Gədəbəy, Quba, Oğuz, Xankəndi, Xocalı.

The amount of precipitation measured is 24 mm in Astara, 20 mm in Lankaran, 7 mm in Balakən, 5 mm in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 3 mm in Tərtər, 2 mm in Bərdə, Naftalan, Göyçay, 1 mm in Yevlax, Mingachevir, Kürdəmir, Şabran, Lerik, Şamaxı.

On December 25, northwest winds blew in several regions. The maximum wind speed reached 25 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 20 m/s in Shahdag and Neftchala, 19 m/s in Goranboy, 18 m/s in Salyan, Mingachevir, Naftalan, Daşkəsən, and 15 m/s in Shirvan.

Fog has been observed in Sədərək, Şərur, Quba, Qusar, Xaltan, Şabran, Gəncə, Daşkəsən, Qax (Sarıbaş), Balakən, Şəki, Yevlax, Zərdab, İmişli, Sabirabad, Lerik, limiting visibility up to 200 meters.

The minimum air temperature recorded is up to +4°C in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, +3°C in the Aran regions, -9°C in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and down to -10°C in the mountainous regions.
