"My footballer could have been blind, two of our players could have had their legs broken."

Galatasaray's head coach Okan Buruk sharply protested against the referee's management after the 1-1 derby with Fenerbahçe. He complained about the dangerous interventions in the match, stating that his players faced the risk of serious injuries.

According to Milli.Az, in a statement after the game, Okan Buruk harshly criticized the events of the match: "There is nothing to evaluate about the match. Everyone saw what happened today. Everything we experienced on the field was in front of the eyes. We barely escaped with our lives," he said.

Buruk noted that his players were in danger and that serious injuries were prevented by chance: "Kazım's eye could have been blinded. Two of our players' legs could have been broken. Therefore, we are thankful. No one should forget this."

"Decisions were made as a result of betting operations related to the referees. Very quick decisions were made regarding the three players, but we do not see continuation. We cannot use Eren, but the technical staff are doing their job. This seems strange to me."

Buruk added that the timing of the decisions also put the team in a difficult position:

"We cannot benefit from Eren in Europe either. Why did this happen? We do not understand why it was done in the middle of the season, something that could not have been expected at the beginning of the season. Many matters were waited for, but here the decision was made immediately. We have many question marks over our heads."
