"Formula 1" drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been penalized.
"Report", citing the International Automobile Federation (FIA), reports that the reason for this was the excessive wear on the skid blocks of the "McLaren" cars driven by the drivers at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Following inspections conducted by FIA representatives after the race, technical malfunctions were detected in the cars. As a result, the points earned by both drivers in Las Vegas were erased.
After disqualification, Lando Norris leads the personal ranking table with 390 points. Oscar Piastri is second, and Max Verstappen is third. Both drivers have 366 points.
It should be noted that the winner of the Las Vegas Grand Prix was Max Verstappen from Red Bull. L. Norris finished the race second, and George Russell ("Mercedes") finished third. O. Piastri finished fourth.
