A plane owned by "Ryanair" collided with a fuel truck at Edinburgh Airport.

"Qafqazinfo" reports that passengers were safely evacuated from the plane during the incident.

The plane was preparing to fly to Faro, Portugal. The collision occurred during the pre-flight preparation stage.

After the incident, fire brigades were called to the airport, and one fuel pump is kept on standby.

A Ryanair spokesperson stated that during preparations for the December 22 Edinburgh-Faro flight, the wingtip of the plane came into contact with the cabin of a fuel truck. An investigation into the incident is underway.
