Joshua Mxlakela, a preacher from the Republic of South Africa, has predicted a new date for the end of the world.
Initially, Mxlakela claimed that the end of the world would occur in September.
According to him, Jesus Christ appeared to him and stated that the second coming would take place during the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah - on September 23 and 24.
The promised apocalypse did not happen, but Mxlakela does not renounce his words. He still believes that it will happen, only the interpretation of the date was mistaken. According to the preacher, Christ may have referred to this date according to the old calendar, that is, the Julian calendar.
Because the Julian calendar is currently 13 days behind the calendar in use, September 23 and 24 in the old calendar correspond to early October.
"The true Rosh Hashanah holiday will be on October 7 and 8. I am one billion percent sure of this," Mxlakela said. (Telegraph)
