The tallest FAMILY in the world: How tall are the giants?

In December 2020, the Trapp family from Esko, Minnesota, USA, made history as the tallest family on the planet.

According to Lent.az citing foreign media, the family admitted that their enormous height has negative aspects such as pain and difficulties in performing daily tasks.

According to the Guinness World Records, the average height of Scott, Chris, Savanna, Molly, and Adam Trapp is 203.29 centimeters.

The Trapp children – Adam, Molly, and Savanna – have been engaged in sports throughout their lives and were even recruited to play basketball and volleyball in college.

Adam is the tallest member of the clan, with a height of 221.71 centimeters, Savanna is 203.6 centimeters tall, and Molly is 197.26 centimeters tall.

Mother Chris is officially the shortest member of the world's tallest family, with a height of 191.2 centimeters, while father Scott is 202.7 centimeters tall.

However, great height also brings significant discomfort. The family faces challenges due to their tall physiques.

"The growing pains were incredible. There are stretch marks on the back of my legs," Savanna admitted.

She also claims that if she stands up too quickly, she sometimes faints.

The Trapp family also stated to the Guinness World Records that they had to duck to pass through doorways and sometimes felt "disappointed" while shopping.

Additionally, the five-member family faces other difficulties such as driving due to their long legs.

Although their amazing height makes life difficult, the Trapps say they want to use it to their advantage.

In April 2022, Molly admitted that when she has children, she wants to continue her family’s prestigious legacy, while Savanna's ambitions are more career-oriented. She confessed that she wants to be an actress or a model and also plans to break the record for the largest grab on a living person (woman).

Rumeysa Gelgi, with a right palm of 24.93 centimeters and left palm of 24.26 centimeters, holds the most recent verified world record as of February 2022.
