March 19 is a shortened working day in Azerbaijan.
From March 20 to 24 is the Novruz holiday, and March 20-21 is the Ramadan holiday; therefore, March 19 (Thursday) will be a shortened working day across the country.
According to Article 108 of the Labor Code, the working day before a holiday is reduced by one hour.
For this reason, the working hours on March 19 in state and private institutions will be one hour shorter compared to regular days.
It should be noted that from March 20 to 30, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country. (Metbuat.az)
