It has become difficult to get an appointment with a doctor in state medical institutions within the framework of Mandatory Medical Insurance. Long queues form at the hospital, and as a result, the citizen has to return without finding a solution to their problem.
Regarding this issue, ATV has prepared a report from several medical institutions.
One of the citizens leaving Yeni Klinika said that their queue number was 1143. Citizens who came to the clinic say that the congestion is mostly experienced during registration and doctor's appointments. "I am number 1117 in the queue. There is no one at the reception, the doctor is sitting completely empty," claimed one of the citizens.
The situation is the same in several hospitals in the capital. In the regions, since technical equipment such as MRI and CT are not available in some places, residents are forced to turn to Baku.
The position of TƏBİB on the issue was also learned. Zamira Adilova, head of the Public Relations Department of the institution, said that patients mostly prefer to visit the medical institution in the morning hours: "This additionally leads to the formation of queues. MRI and CT examinations are performed both in a planned and urgent manner. These examinations are provided primarily based on the principle of organizing queues in the morning and evening. Especially severe complex and risky examinations are carried out in the morning hours."
Regarding the situation in the regions, the TƏBİB representative added that MRI services are organized in 8 medical institutions, and CT services in 1 medical institution.
