From Baku to Nabran by ship: Tourism plans for 2026 announced VIDEO

It is planned to organize sea cruises connecting the Caspian coastal cities in 2026. Specifically, the Russian-owned motor ship "Nikolay Zharkov," which will operate on this route, is expected to start navigation next year.

Tourism experts believe that this project will give a significant boost to tourism development in Azerbaijan.

According to tourism expert Rahman Guliyev, the project will change the tourism map of the region:

"The operation of cruise ships on the Caspian Sea will take Azerbaijan's tourism to a new stage. Alongside Baku city, areas such as Lankaran, Neftchala, and Nabran will also turn into port cities. This will attract great interest from both foreign and domestic tourists. The project will seriously promote Azerbaijan in the field of cruise tours."
