According to the "State Program on the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku City and Surrounding Areas for 2025-2030," the implementation of 24 road infrastructure projects is planned in the capital.
One of these projects is the new road connecting Xagani Rustamov Street with Agha Nematulla Streets.
Preparation works have already started in the area. The new road will pass through the lower part of the railway line in the area via a tunnel and will serve as an alternative route from White City towards Babek Avenue. The opening of this road will facilitate traffic flow in both directions and minimize time loss.
Another important project is the construction of a road connecting academician Hasan Aliyev Street with the "Koroglu" metro station. Construction and installation works are already being carried out in tunnels and pedestrian crossings along the road.
