A building extension, an additional structure, has been constructed for a restaurant at the place where there used to be a pedestrian crossing.
On the part remaining in the middle, where pedestrians could walk through, deliberately paving stones have been arranged so that citizens will cross the road not from there, but from another area.
Khazar TV reports that according to the citizen who filmed and sent the footage to the channel, the "Öz kardeşler" restaurant has occupied a part of the pedestrian crossing, and a traffic light is installed on the remaining narrow part. Since there are 3 secondary schools in the area, especially schoolchildren coming to and leaving school face danger on this road every day.
Residents say that the catering facility located at the intersection of Sattar Bahlulzade street and Atatürk avenue in the capital previously left even a small space for the crossing. However, for some time now, it is no longer possible to cross this road.
