The condition of the teacher who was shot by a student at the "İdrak" lyceum in Baku has been clarified.
In a statement given to Oxu.Az by the Clinical Medical Center, it is stated that the treatment of a person born in 1997 (female) is continuing in the Neurosurgery department of the Clinical Medical Center. Currently, the patient's condition is assessed as stable.
Recall that the incident occurred on February 6 in the Binagadi district of Baku at the "İdrak" lyceum. A 10th-grade student studying at the lyceum, Ə.Ş, shot the mathematics teacher Şəhla Kamilova with a firearm.
Ş.Kamilova was taken to the Clinical Medical Center and underwent surgery.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Binagadi District Prosecutor’s Office regarding the incident. As a result of the measures taken by police officers, the suspect Ə.Ş, believed to be responsible for the incident, was detained. By the decision of the Binagadi District Court, a 4-month pre-trial detention measure was chosen for her.
