January 18 is the memorial day of the late journalist Aynur Mirhəsən.
Medianews.az reports that Aynur Mirhəsən, born on January 27, 1976, graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University. She worked as a reporter for the newspapers “Yeni Müsavat,” “Üç nöqtə,” and “Həftə içi,” was the project manager of the website Mediaforum.az, and served as the editor of the Ann.az website.
Starting in 2016, Aynur Mirhəsən pursued higher education in neuromarketing in Istanbul, Turkey, where she lived. She passed away on January 18, 2020, and on January 20, she was buried in the Qayıblı cemetery near Shamakhi, Azerbaijan.
In May 2020, the late journalist's book “Azadlıq ibadəti” was published, and in 2022 a film dedicated to her memory was produced.
