The court investigation in the criminal case against Tamerlan Mammadov, who was accused of torturing his wife by shaving her hair bald, has been completed.
According to Qafqazinfo, the verdict was announced at the last hearing held at the Narimanov District Court.
The court concluded that the accusation against the defendant is sufficiently substantiated and confirmed by numerous pieces of evidence.
According to the verdict, Tamerlan Mammadov was found guilty of torturing a helpless person and was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment.
It should be noted that last October, the police received a report about a woman being beaten by her husband. In the circulated video, the man was seen torturing his wife by shaving her hair bald. These images were shared on social media by the perpetrator himself.
Immediately after the incident, T. Mammadov was detained by police officers, taken into investigation, and a pretrial detention measure was chosen against him.
