This weekend will host one of the most unique events in UFC history – the UFC Freedom 250 tournament will be held on the grounds of the White House, the official residence of the President of the United States.
The event, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence, will take place in Washington on June 14 (June 15, 4:00 AM Baku time).
Seven fights will be organized within the tournament. In the main event of the night, lightweight champion Ilia Topuria will face interim champion Justin Gaethje. In the second main fight of the night, Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane will compete for the interim heavyweight championship belt of the UFC.

Currently, Azerbaijan is the only country in the South Caucasus and CIS region hosting UFC tournaments. According to the contract, UFC Fight Night events are planned to be held in Baku annually until 2028.
