The behind-the-scenes details of the tragedy in Kahramanmaraş that resulted in the death of 10 people (including the attacker who died due to the intervention of the cook) have been revealed. Messages written by İsa Aras Mersinli on the Discord application and documents on his computer prove that the massacre was planned hour by hour.
Milli.Az reports that the attacker clearly stated his intention in group chats one day before and on the morning of the incident. The following horrific expressions were included in his messages:
"It would be good if the 5th and 6th grades are ready."
"I can do this today. Around 3 o'clock in the afternoon."
"I will show how exhausted I am with this world."
One of the most notable points in the messages are the claims about İsa Aras's father (police chief Uğur Mersinli):
"My own father tried to strangle me and kill me. Today, I am completely exhausted. I am alone at home, I will just quickly finish my manifesto and sleep a little."
The Kahramanmaraş Republic Chief Prosecutor's Office confiscated digital materials during the search conducted at the attacker's home.
It has been discovered that İsa Aras had prepared a document on his computer as early as April 11, 2026, regarding a major action he intended to carry out.
Based on current evidence, the prosecutor's office announced that the incident has no connection to any terrorist organization and that the attacker acted completely individually.
