The US Senate has confirmed billionaire Jared Isaacman, nominated by President Donald Trump, as the head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Oxu.az reports that the vote held in the upper house of the US legislature was broadcast by C-SPAN.
67 senators voted in favor of Isaacman, while 30 voted against. Thus, his nomination was approved.
The billionaire is expected to be sworn in soon as the new head of NASA.
