The 127 mm 54 caliber naval gun barrel, entirely domestically produced by Turkey's Machinery and Chemical Industry, has successfully completed test firings on the "TCG Fatih" frigate.
Oxu.Az reports that currently, a 76 mm national naval gun is being produced in the country. The next stage plans to release the 127 mm national naval gun.
It is reported that soon Turkey will take its place among the few countries in the world capable of producing this strategic weapon system.
