According to Medianews.az, referring to Foodinfo.az, neurologist Aleksandr Yevdokimov states that even the weak light from a smartphone screen can interfere with the synthesis of melatonin, an important hormone in the body.

The doctor explains that the light from the phone or the occasional flickering of the screen does not allow the brain to fully rest. This disrupts a person's biological rhythm, makes the process of falling asleep difficult, and may lead to changes in hormonal balance.

The specialist notes that although official scientific evidence regarding the harm of smartphone radiation is not yet fully confirmed, many people report better sleep when they stay away from technology. Doctors recommend keeping the phone at some distance from the bed while sleeping at night.
