The current condition of five children poisoned by carbon monoxide in Sumqayit has been announced.
According to information provided to Trend by the Sumqayit Medical Center and the Republican Pediatric Center, the treatment of four children continues at the Sumqayit Medical Center's Children's Hospital.
"The condition of 2 people diagnosed with unspecified viral meningoencephalitis is severe, while the condition of 2 people diagnosed with unspecified viral infection is stable.
One person (female) evacuated to the E.F. Garaev Children's Clinical Hospital under the Republican Pediatric Center has been diagnosed with meningoencephalitis. Her current condition is assessed as severely stable," the information stated.
It should be noted that on April 1, six members of a family living at 70, H.Z. Taghiyev settlement, Sumqayit city, were poisoned by carbon monoxide. One of the six children poisoned by carbon monoxide died in the hospital on April 4.
