The Russian-owned "IL-76" aircraft made an emergency landing at Krasnoyarsk's Cheremshanka airport due to a problem in the engine.
Musavat.com reports that this was stated by the Russian Regional Transport Ministry to TASS.
According to the information, during the landing the plane veered about 50 meters off the runway. Currently, the airport is closed for other flights and emergency services are operating.
The ministry added that the Krasnoyarsk international airport, located 4 km away, is operating normally.
It should be noted that the Cheremshanka airport is mainly used for local routes and transit flights.
