Prices have risen again in the global cocoa market. Experts warn that if the instability in the cocoa market continues, new price increases in chocolate products may be inevitable.
According to Milli.Az, there has been a sharp turnaround in the cocoa market.
- ICE New York: Cocoa rose 3% to $5,261 per ton,
- ICE London: The price has risen to £3,993.
Analysts report that the breaking of the psychological support at £4,000 in London has made sellers more aggressive and created sharp fluctuations.
This instability continues to increase cost pressures for the chocolate and food industries dependent on cocoa.
If today's rising trend in cocoa prices continues, especially with increased demand during the New Year and holiday periods, the price of chocolate products may increase.
