Ronaldo won against "Juventus" in court - millions will receive

Portuguese star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Saudi Arabia's "Al-Nassr" club, has won the court case related to "Juventus".

According to Milli.Az, this was reported by Italy's prestigious publication La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Turin Court of Appeal rejected Juventus's complaint against the previous decision and upheld the ruling that the club must pay Ronaldo 9.7 million euros.

The legal dispute is related to a secret agreement allegedly made between the parties during the coronavirus pandemic period. According to that agreement, Juventus had temporarily deferred part of Ronaldo's salary. Later, it was revealed that the club owed the Portuguese forward an amount of 9.8 million euros.

It should be noted that Ronaldo initially demanded approximately double that amount - 19.9 million euros. However, in 2024, the arbitration court partially accepted the footballer's claim and ruled that Juventus pay a lesser amount. The appeal instance upheld this decision unchanged.

Thus, based on the final position of the Italian courts, the Turin club will have to pay the amount it owes to Ronaldo.
