The Azerbaijani representative "Qarabağ" competing in the league stage of the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League season will host Denmark's "Kopenhagen" team in Baku at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium on October 1. The match starts at 20:45.
In their first match, which took place on a trip to Portugal, the Agdam team defeated "Benfica" 3-2 and currently ranks 10th among 36 teams with 3 points.

According to the regulations of the eight-round stage, the top 8 teams directly qualify for the round of 16, while the teams placed 9th to 24th compete in the round of 32. When points are equal, the following criteria are applied in order: goal difference, number of goals, away goals, number of wins, number of away wins, the results of the team's opponents in the round (points, goal difference, number of goals), disciplinary points (yellow and red cards), and the team's ranking.
As for the remaining matches, "Qarabağ" will face England's "Chelsea," Netherlands' "Ajax," and Germany's "Eintracht" (Frankfurt) at home, and Spain's "Athletic," Italy's "Napoli," and England's "Liverpool" away.
The "Qarabağ" team has previously competed in the main stages of club tournaments in 11 seasons.
