Azerbaijani sailors injured in the UAV attack LATEST SITUATION

The condition of two Azerbaijani citizens injured as a result of a UAV attack on a ship in the Azov Sea is moderate to severe, while the condition of two others is normal.

Medianews.az reports that Farhad Mammadov, the head of the Azerbaijani community in Yeysk, stated this in a statement to APA's Russian bureau. He said that he visited our compatriots being treated in the traumatology department of Yeysk Central Hospital, that their certain needs have been met, and that their health conditions are under doctors' supervision. He emphasized that Azerbaijani citizens Rashad Madatkhanov, Samid Ibadli, Emin Valehov, and Namig Jafarli are under doctors' supervision.

The injured Azerbaijani citizens also told APA's Russian bureau in statements that their condition is normal and their treatment in the hospital continues. They noted that representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yeysk and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia have visited them and inquired about all their needs.

It has been reported that the Azerbaijani citizens will be discharged from the hospital on the first day of next week. However, since they do not have documents (documents were lost on the ship during the UAV attack), the discharge from the hospital is expected to be delayed for a period.

It was noted that the Azerbaijani embassy is working on ensuring their documents.
