On April 30, an explosion occurred in the radiation diagnostics department of the National Oncology Center.
Medianews.az, citing Oxu.Az, reports that during the incident recorded on the first floor of the department, patient Mubariz Aliyev died, and radiologist Asif Nasirli sustained serious bodily injuries.
He was immediately hospitalized.
Law enforcement officers were deployed to the scene, and an investigation is underway.
