On May 29-30, a yellow and orange warning was issued due to expected windy weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in the regions.
It was reported to Medianews.az by the National Hydrometeorology Service that in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Nakhchivan AR, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Ganja, Naftalan, Goranboy, Samukh, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, Fuzuli, Goychay, Aghdash, Ujar, Zardab, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Yevlakh, Tartar, Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Lerik, Yardimli, Gobustan, Guba, Gusar, and Neftchala, north-west winds will blow in accordance with the orange warning, with wind speeds strengthening up to 20.8-28.4 m/s.
In other regions of the country, in accordance with the yellow warning, north-west winds will blow with speeds ranging from 13.9 to 20.7 m/s.
