The building housing the largest headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran was severely damaged and almost completely destroyed during an attack by Israeli and US forces.
This was reported by the "Al Hadath" TV channel.
"As a result of a US and Israeli airstrike, the largest IRGC headquarters in Tehran has been destroyed," the channel reported.
Recall that on February 28, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the Israeli Defense Forces had carried out a preemptive strike against Iran. Later, US President Donald Trump stated that his country also participated in the military operation against Iran.
In turn, Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed the attacks, sirens sounded across the country, and air defense systems were activated.
On March 1, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was declared killed during the attacks.
Iran launched missile strikes against most of the neighboring countries hosting US military bases. Consequently, the airspace in those countries was temporarily closed. //Oxu.Az
