A chain traffic accident involving eight cars occurred in the Yasamal district of Baku.
Medianews.az reports, citing Oxu.Az, that the incident was recorded on January 22 in the early morning hours at the 15th kilometer of the Outer Ring Road, at 07:00.
According to initial information, the accident happened due to the slippery road. The improper selection of the distance between vehicles resulted in eight cars colliding with each other.
At the time of the accident, the cars involved included a "Ford Transit" with license plate 99-BJ-107 driven by Simran Safar oghlu Nazarov, born in 1969; an "AzSamand" with license plate 77-LG-369 driven by Ismayil Mahammad oghlu Maharramli, born in 1976; a "Toyota Hilux" with license plate 99-AB-708 driven by Shiraslan Nadir oghlu Guliyev, born in 1978; a BAIC with license plate 99-UZ-630 driven by Mahir Misir oghlu Nadirov, born in 1966; a "Mercedes-Benz" with license plate 99-CP-782 driven by Aydin Oktay oghlu Agayev, born in 1973; and three more vehicles collided as well.
It is reported that one person was injured as a result of the incident. The cars were seriously damaged.
