The body of former Russian Deputy Minister of Labor Aleksey Sklyar was found in New Moscow. According to preliminary information, he committed suicide.
Modern.az reports that according to TASS Agency, Sklyar was found dead on the morning of January 15 in his private house in the Filimonkovskoye settlement.
According to the report, before his death, the former official wrote a farewell message on a Telegram channel, stating that his wife was "guilty of everything."
It was reported that emergency service workers who arrived at the scene found a gun next to the body.
Aleksey Sklyar's widow, Yuliya Sklyar, refused to answer journalists' questions, citing that she is in a "serious emotional stress situation."
Sources close to the family told the Telegram channel that the couple "had conflicts and disputes over jealousy in recent years." Sklyar was 50 years old. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia, overseeing issues related to information systems and the provision of electronic government services.
According to an order from Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, it was reported that he voluntarily resigned.
