The President of Iran has lost control of the situation - The possibility of dialogue has been exhausted - The foreign intervention is next in line.

"The course of events shows that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has completely lost control of the situation." Political analyst Elkhan Shahinoglu shares this view.

In his statement to Medianews.az, the political analyst said that although Pezeshkian made calls in the early days of the protests such as "Let's establish dialogue" and "Do not open fire on protesters," no one heeded these calls:

"The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) does whatever it pleases; the orders come from the Supreme Leader and rogue generals. They have nothing to lose, so they have given the order to 'kill.' The scale of the massacre has expanded. Masoud Pezeshkian's new statement is also insignificant. He again stated that citizens have the right to protest peacefully and that the government is ready to listen to the people's voice. Following this, Pezeshkian emphasized that 'violence and riots are unacceptable and strict measures will be taken against such acts.'"

Those who open fire on people do not distinguish between peaceful protesters and rioters; among the dead are both. The opportunities for dialogue have been exhausted, next in line is foreign intervention."
