Iran will close a part of the Strait of Hormuz for several hours during military exercises.
Modern.az reports that this information was released by Iran's "Fars" agency.
The agency stated that today, during the "Smart Management of the Strait of Hormuz" naval exercises, some parts of the Strait of Hormuz will be closed for several hours to ensure compliance with safety and navigation rules.
Amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and increased U.S. military presence in the region, Iran began the "Smart Management of the Strait of Hormuz" naval exercises on February 16.
