The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy of Iran has announced full control over the Strait of Hormuz.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by the representative of the IRGC Navy, Mohammad Akbarzadeh.
According to him, the Iranian side had previously warned that passage through the strait was dangerous.
Nevertheless, 10 oil tankers attempting to pass were struck by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The IRGC representative emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is currently under the full control of Iranian forces.
