Azerbaijani judokas Hidayat Heydarov and Rashid Mammadaliyev finished the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, without a prize.
"Qafqazinfo" reports that Olympic, world, and European champion Hidayat Heydarov lost to Mukhiddin Asadulloyev (Tajikistan) in the round of 16.
Rashid Mammadaliyev was defeated by American Steven Boldbaatar.
Both of our judokas competed in the 73 kg weight category.
It should be noted that the day before, 4 of our judokas were unable to win medals.
