In Russia, doctors have extracted a metal fragment approximately 0.5 centimeters long from a man's eye, saving his vision.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in the Primorye region.
According to the information, while the man was working with a brush with metal bristles, one of the bristles fell into his eye. The length of the fragment was about 0.5 centimeters.
According to the doctors, if the metal had penetrated deeper, the patient could have completely lost his vision.
During the surgical operation, the foreign object was carefully removed and the damaged tissue was stitched. Afterwards, treatment was prescribed to prevent inflammation.
